Paul Hassan Ilegbusi is a seasoned Public Health professional and Senior Lecturer with over 25 years of experience in Community and Primary Health Care in Nigeria. He serves as Deputy Director (Community Health) at Ondo State College of Health Technology, Akure, where he teaches, supervises, and coordinates academic and clinical activities for Community Health students and professionals. Paul is a Certified and Licensed Community Health Officer, Certified Health Manager and Administrator, and a Certified Primary Health Care Educationist, holding multiple fellowships including the Institute of Management Specialists UK and Institute of Management Consultants-Nigeria. He is also a Dignitary Member of the International Academic and Research Consortium, Kenya and a Local Network Lead of the African Reproducibility Network (AREN). Paul’s work spans clinical practice, health education, research, and policy development. He has coordinated Primary Health Care teams, led training programs, supervised numerous student projects, and contributed to national and international health initiatives. He has published research on public health topics such as contraceptive acceptance, infant nutrition, and female genital mutilation, and presented at conferences on the role of community health workers and modern health challenges. He continues to advance public health education and practice through teaching, research, and community engagement, fostering stronger health systems in Nigeria and beyond.
