Dr. Branka Bacotić is a Gynecologist and Obstetrician at the General Hospital Uzice, Regional Health Centre Uzice, Serbia, and Head of the Department of Minimally Invasive Gynecological Surgery. She holds a PhD from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Belgrade, with research focused on quality-of-life outcomes after thyroid surgery. Earlier in her career, she completed residency training in Endocrine Surgery, contributing to her multidisciplinary clinical expertise. Dr. Bacotić has authored numerous scientific publications—many under her maiden name, Bukvić—covering quality-of-life research, thyroid disorders, perinatology, and gynecology. She participated in the international ThyPRO multicentral study and co-authored a textbook for endocrine surgeons. An active member of leading Serbian professional societies, she is dedicated to advancing women’s health through evidence-based practice, minimally invasive surgery, and clinical research.
