Prof. Frank Louwen is the Head of the Independent Department of Obstetrics and Prenatal Medicine at Goethe University Frankfurt. He holds full training authorization (36 months) in Special Obstetrics and Perinatology. Prof. Louwen has served on the Board of Directors of EBCOG and FIGO, and was a board member of the German Society for Gynecology and Obstetrics from 2010 to 2022. He is also an active member of the German Society for Perinatal Medicine and the German Society for Ultrasound in Medicine. In recognition of his contributions, he was awarded an Honorary Doctorate by the Russian Academy of Sciences, St. Petersburg.
